Different places encounter different types of weather such as snow, rain, cold, heat, and sometimes even harsher conditions. Our Palm Trees are made of an all internal steel pole that ranges from 100 lbs to 500 lbs, depending on the size of the tree. It’s strong interior allows very ample support and additional tightness because it is bolted down. Wires and cables are well hidden in safe plastic coverings and inside the tree as well to guard against shock or other electrical hazards that may be caused from exposure.

The outer shell of the tree is a very hard polymer plastic, which gives it the rich color you see. It contains proxy dyes which was process heated before the shell molds were filled. This makes the color shell more resistant to fading from sun exposure. Because it is a permanent fixture, and the color is blended into the mold mixture, there is no running of colors due to the rain or snow.

Each of the leaf branches are made with color wax coated steel ends which is attached to the top of the tree with bolts. This gives it tremendous clench to the tree and prevents the falling out of branches from storms. Again, the bulbs and wiring of the individual leaves are located inside the mold of the polymer fronds protecting it from outside exposure.

How does shipping work and what is the approximate cost?

After your purchase is processed, your order is pulled from the warehouse and is then scheduled for pickup and delivery. As a courtesy bonus for our customers, we handle the scheduling and delivery for you

Cost quotes for shipping come from multiple shippers. We assure that you receive the lowest shipping cost possble. Because we are a company that has high shipping demands, Unishippers provides us with the lowest cost for shipping through companies such as Overnight Transportation, Airborne, DHL, Roadway, plus up to an additional 30% discount.

We first pull your order, then you are sent via email, fax, or mail a copy of the quote that is given to us directly from Unishippers. After the shipping is paid for, we schedule a pick up and delivery to your door. General time for shipping is between 3-5 business days in transit.

The cost of shipping varies depending on the quantity weight of your order, the destination and the means of unloading, for instance, if you have a loading dock available. The larger your order is and going to the same destination, the more value you save by weight.

You also have the option of picking up the trees directly from our showroom/warehouse, or you can schedule pick up and delivery with your own company of choice.

What if a light or part of the tree breaks?

We have replacement parts at a minimal cost to you. From the individual fronds, branches, outer shell, internal pole, lights, connectors, and more, you can always purchase replacements for your tree(s) should you need due to regular wear and tear or for whatever reason. We will help provide you with the items needed to help maintain your lighted palm tree burning bright for many years to come.

Our trees have a 30 day manufacturer’s warranty to replace defective parts. You also have the option of picking up the trees directly from our warehouse, or you can schedule pick up and delivery with your own company of choice.
